Season Opener: Rockets @ Celtics (Game 1 of 82)

After the Boston Celtics received their championship rings, the season opener got underway. Shooting was poor throughout the game for both teams, but the Rockets (after failing to resign Jeremy Lin) only had Ben Gordon to weather the storm against the new-look Boston Celtics.
Boston might have a new squad this year, but each one of them scored the ball, especially recent acquisition, Channing Frye (22 points) in his first game wearing green and white, which had to make quite an impression on Boston's GM.

Ultimately, the Celtics proved they were the better team tonight and skated to an easy victory, despite revealing the challenge of forming chemistry on the court as a new group.
