Hedo Turkoglu won't have to contend against Paul Pierce anymore because he'll be coming off the bench in his place.
Boston has agreed to trade forward Charlie Villanueva to the Orlando Magic in exchange for the star forward from Orlando who led them to the NBA Finals in 2010. Villanueva had his moments, but lacked consistency in Boston. With the addition of Channing Frye and backup center Roy Hibbert who occasionally plays forward along with KG in the front court, Turkoglu will help balance the SF position while Michael Beasley moves up to the 4 spot.
Boston's GM revealed that the Celtics have been trying to acquire Turkoglu since last season, and finally worked out a deal to Orlando's liking.
