Boston Celtics @ Milwaukee Bucks (Game 5 of 82)

Rajon Rondo served his role as captain of the Boston Celtics, scoring 19 points and piloting Boston's fluent stride on the road, as they convincingly handled the Bucks, despite 21 and 10 by adversary Brandon Jennings and 20 by Monta Ellis.

In a slow burn affair, these two teams calmly took each other on, and it was a solid team effort that once again proved successful for Boston. Kevin Garnett had 14 points; Roy Hibbert made his presence known on the boards with 7 rebounds; Michael Beasley hit some gutsy shots down the stretch for 17 points; Paul Pierce chipped in 10 to spite early foul trouble; Hedo Turkoglu delivered 12 points, 5 assists and 5 rebounds and backup point guard Jordan Farmar had a modest showing with 6 points and 5 assists.

Boston didn't play spectacularly, but they certainly outplayed Milwaukee and controlled them in the 4th quarter, after breaking out to a considerable lead in the 3rd quarter. In the loss, big men Ilyasova (18 points, 14 rebounds) and Samuel Dalembert (8 points, 12 rebounds) tried to aid Jennings in a late comeback attempt that ultimately proved to be futile.
