Shannon Brown gave a high-energy performance (25 points) but in the first meeting between Phoenix & Boston since the Frye/Beasley/Kevin Martin trade, Boston had little trouble dominating the Suns in the arid desert.

Channing Frye, the former Sun, dipped in 19 points and so did Michael Beasley, leading a cooperative effort by Boston, by which every Celtic scored. The former Celtic, Kevin Martin, however, gritted his way to 24 points on icky 9-25 shooting that allowed scarce flow for the Suns on the court.

New arrival, Shane Battier, hit a corner 3 pointer in Boston's victory, 104-94.
